Believe it or not, Louisiana DOES have trails! The Louisiana Hiking Club, in following the precedent established by member John Crochet's on-line trail guide, has commenced their campaign to compile accurate cartographic and naturalist guides for Louisiana Trails.

ATTENTION !
Persons using Louisiana Wildlife Management Areas or other department administered lands for purposes other than hunting and fishing, such as camping, shooting on rifle ranges, berry picking, hiking, photography, bird-watching and the like, must possess one of the following: a valid Wild Louisiana Stamp, a valid Louisiana fishing license, or a valid Louisiana hunting license. Persons younger than 16 or older than 60 years of age are exempt from this requirement.
