Support our own Janina "Nina" Baxley, a Louisiana native and a member of the Louisiana Hiking Club. Her book, 50 Hikes in Louisiana: Walks, Hikes, and Backpacks in the Bayou State, was published in January 2004 and is a wonderful resource for hikers looking for places to go just about anywhere in Louisiana. Her book can be purchased here from Amazon or can be found at mostoutfitters throughout the state.
