Our member day hikes and backpacking trips range from short excursions in Louisiana's
state parks to trips of more than 100 miles along Arkansas' Ozark Highlands Trail and
Alabama's Sipsey Wilderness and others, such as the Ouachita and Pinhoti trails.  Our
member hikes include trails throughout the Kisatchie National Forest, such as the Wild Azalea
Trail, Backbone Trail, and Caroline Dormon Trail; trails in Mississippi's Homochitto National
Forest and DeSoto National Forest; Mississippi's Clark Creek Natural Area; and trails in
various wildlife management areas.  Members of the club often coordinate club hiking or
backpacking trips to out-of-state destinations such as:

•        Smoky Mountains National Park
•        Grand Teton National Park
•        Big Bend National Park
•        Olympic National Park
•        Glacier National Park
•        Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
•        Bryce Canyon National Park
